Are you happy of your staying in Florence?

Ewelina, Dubai: Excellent logistics

I really appreciated my stay in the apartment. The communication with Francesca and Diana was very smooth and both were very helpful. The location is very good, very close to train station as well as to town center. You can reach easily all spots walking. The apartment is clean, nicely finished, authentic, but a bit dark. Excellent logistics, there is no key to carry, very useful equipment is proposed to make your stay easy. Bed is comfortable. I really appreciated my stay in Florence. @abnb

Charles, Canada: A word to the wise

Diana is a great host. Greeted us on arrival. Made a proper introduction of the apartment so that we all knew where everything was. The location is incredible. Close to the Uffizi, ponte vecchio and the duomo. There are plenty of little restaurants in the neighbourhood to choose from. A word to the wise. This apartment is in a historical building in a very busy area. Therefore do not expect air conditioning, meaning you may have to sleep with the windows open for airflow. There a lots of people in the piazza nearby sometimes till the early morning hours. Therefore bring some earplugs IF you're a light sleeper. If not you'll be fine. The location is fabulous since you can walk to pretty much everything important in under 15 minutes. Pre arrange your parking ahead of time as well as your drive into the city because the apartment is in a reduced circulation neighbourhood and you risk an expensive traffic ticket if you don't accordingly. @abnb

Pia, Danimarca: Værten er meget sød

Lejligheden ligger helt rigtigt centralt og er en dejlig lejlighed at holde ferie i. Værten er meget sød og imødekommende og hjælpsom. @airbnb

Julia: One of a kind experience

This is an absolutely one of a kind experience. Emanuele is a person of high intellect and culture and is a very good and patient teacher. Enthusiast and passionate to disseminate the ancient art of al fresco, he is a Rennaiscance man himself: an architect, a painter, a designer, art historian, traveller and music lover. His studio is in one of the most beautiful and must see places of Florence - Piazza Santa Croce. Four hours will fly, and yet what I could never expect was that we would be able to reproduce one of Michelangelo's operas al fresco. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended experience in the heart of Florence! ( airbnb experience)

terrace is stunning: Bo, California

This place is unbelievable. When we got there, we were greeted by Francesca who was warm and friendly. She took us through a few details and let on on our own. When we looked around the apartment, it was well appointed, clean, and perfect for the two of us. It wasn't until we walked upstairs that the real gem was hiding. The view from the private (yeah, private) terrace is stunning. It's a full view of the entire city. Duomo, Santa Croce, the river, it's perfect. The neighborhood around the apartment is safe, every store owner is friendly, and everything you want is within walking distance. Less than a block away is one of the best wine stores I have ever been in. Signorvino. Go. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Diana's place. It was perfect and we will certainly consider going back @airbnb

Stephanie, USA: A quieter, less touristy part of town

Truly enjoyed our stay in Firenze. Francesca was very helpful and flexible regarding our check in time ( our train naturally, was running late) The apartment is in a quieter, less touristy part of town but still a quick, easy walk from the historic area, great restaurants and grocery store. The apartment was very clean and the bed was probably the most comfortable we had in all of Italy. I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Firenze! @abnb

Lucasz, Polonia: Really close to the city center

Diana's apartament was a very good place for visiting and exploring Florence. It was realy close to the city center. A little kitchen was an only worse element, but we used it only for breakfest. It was comfortable place for our trip overall. We can recommend it very much. @abnb

Debbie, Canada: Large space with a tuscan feel

Large space with a tuscan feel, inviting home with air conditioning after long hot day of sight seeing. Central location, 10min walk from train station. Walking distance to tourist sites (duomo, uffizi gallery). Close to shopping and restaurants. The washing machine worked great - was so nice to have as we packed light for our 3 weeks in Europe. Loved drying our clothes outside for a true authentic experience! Kitchen equipped with everything you needed, although we didn't use it. Agree with other reviews, lots of stairs as described. We did not mind as it was expected and we didn't have any issues. An android phone was provided with the stay. Again, we didn't use it as we had our own phones but would be helpful for those needing phones for international calls, maps and directions, recommendations, etc. Great stay, smooth and easy check in process. Would definitely recommend! @abnb

Rod, Australia: Great Apartment

Was worried about whether it was suitable for 3 couples to stay, but it was excellent. Very big, very nice rooms and beds. Separate areas and bathrooms for multiple partners.

Linda, USA: Diana welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine

Diana and her Acacia Crew travel consultants welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine. We appreciated the cell phone they provided us which gave us an easy way to navigate the city. The apartment came with two sets of keys and a very informative binder listing restaurants, sights, etc. The apartment was welcoming with plenty of space, a super cute pastel blue fridge, and three air conditioning units to keep the place cool. We enjoyed the hotel like toiletries, and the pillows and beds were comfortable as well. The unit was great for two couples since we had our own bedrooms, bathrooms, and a common area to hang out. The downstairs bedroom has an attached bathroom. The upstairs loft bedroom will have use the communal bathroom downstairs. Make sure you have enough cash on hand to pay for Florence's city tax upon check in. We noticed when we used Google Maps to get back to the apartment, it took us one block the wrong way. So make note of the apartment surroundings. Thank you Acacia Crew for being such great hosts! We would stay here again. @aibnb

Rob, USA: Better than the photos

The apartment was in a great location, within walking distance to all the sights, and also on the bus line. The apartment was perfect, great decor, comfy bed and plenty of space, very comfortable for two people. Having a clothes washing machine was helpful, and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials for easy cooking. The only warning I have is the entry stairwell, it is long & very steep, if you have problems with stairs this is not the place for you.

Esther: Chic Design

This apartment is absolutely lovely with so much character and chic design! It was ideal for 2 people, very comfortable. Like so many older buildings, the stairs up to the apartment are steep so packing light is recommended. The neighborhood is active, especially at night but the windows are of high quality and do a good job with maintaining street noise to a reasonable level. The location is ideal within reasonable distance to major attractions, restaurants and we even walked back to the train station. Check-in took a little longer because of traffic, but Diana kept in contact which we greatly appreciated @airbnb

Diana, what a great stay we had with you!: Laureen. Australia

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Florence. Diana offered us wine upon our early evening arrival and we had a wonderful conversation. She is a fascinating woman and truly understands hospitality. Everything about the apartment was described accurately in the Airbnb listing. The location was perfect with everything convenient for a 4 day stay. Diana gave us great restaurant recommendations and called to reserve. We referenced her Florence binder frequently for everything from the best gelato near by to the perfume shop my 20 yr. old daughter loved! It was the "insider guide" we all want from someone whose family has lived in Florence for generations. She also arranged for a taxi to the train station which arrived promptly, and even delivered needed items to our door when we all came down with a 24 stomach bug. All communication was immediate and efficient. We loved the rooftop terrace, the visits from her cat through the window from the roof, comfortable beds, Aqua Flor shower products , and the traditional feel of this updated apartment within a 15th century mansion. The only challenges are documented right in the listing so no surprises. Prepare for sneaky mosquitos (none of our Italian lodging had screens but more mosquitos in Florence than expected) and the stairs with our luggage and within apartment reminded us to bring less next time! But a chair awaited us on the last landing to rest if needed! Diana is gracious, kind, and her apartment was perfect for our family. Thank you for a wondrous l experience in Firenze.”

Christina: What a fabulous apartment!

The location was perfect right across from the Medici Chapel. Large open windows to gaze out from. Church bells were an added bonus! Many restaurants within steps. Two bedroom and two full baths. Plenty of hot water and fresh linens. Our only issue was with wifi. @airbnb

@airbnb

Andrea: A dream come true!

Staying at Cosmea was a dream come true!! A beautifully appointed studio suite with a multi million dollar view of Florence from the roof top terrace. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and breakfasts and dinners with sunrises and sunsets over the Duomo and tower were truly extraordinary. Everything you need is within a short walk. Grocery store, markets, shops and museums. Two minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and out of the touristy area made the location perfect. I will be back for sure!

Adelaida, USA: Sheer elegance

I stayed at the Kumquat apartment for a month and would highly recommend. Diane and her staff were very helpful and made checking- in and out an easy process. The Borgo San Frediano area, on the other side of the Arno, is less hectic, less touristy than most Florence, yet just a bridge away. It has plenty of nightlife and excellent restaurants on the same street: Neromo, Fermento, Vecchia Maniera (next door). The room is sheer elegance. The distinctive lighting feels relaxing. The bed and bedding are very comfortable and of the highest quality. The kitchen is small, but fine for short stays.

John, USA: The view of the city is unparalleled

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location--directly across the Arno from the Uffizi Gallery. With a supermarket nearby, we found it easy to purchase a few items to enjoy on the magnificent rooftop terrace. The view of the city is unparalleled. It was a perfect place for our few days in Florence. @abnb
