Luce, spazio e tranquillità al massimo!

Geoffrey, USa: wi-fi is excellent

This is a beautiful and spacious apartment right in the pedestrianised heart of Florence close to Palazzo Vecchio. It is very comfortable and well equipped. There is no air conditioning but we found that the fan worked well to keep us cool at night. I really loved that I could walk out of the apartment and within 50 metres buy fresh fish, vegetables, fruit and other great Italian food to prepare and eat in the apartment. Of course there are also a wealth of restaurants close by. The wi-fi is excellent.

Eric, USA: Coffee, pastries and vegatable stands just down the street

This apartment could not be more in the middle of the wonderful Florence action. You are a block of Piazza Vecchio and 5 minutes from just about everything else. In the morning you are greeted with coffee, pastries and vegatable stands just down the street. the apartment has plenty of room to relax in, kitchen is spacious and the the beds are good! diana is very responsive to any of your needs.

Nick, USA: I thought I was on set in a movie.

Amazing! Spacious, modern, comfortable, and right in the heart of the city. I thought I was on set in a movie. Even down to the old-style key to open the door! We really cannot say enough great things about this place and our host. They are so welcoming, gracious, and warm. We will be coming back to this Airbnb again and telling every one of our friends to look it up when they travel.

Oxana, Russia: Fantastic view from the window

Stylish apartment with a fantastic view from the window. + 50% to the pleasure of visiting Florence. Everything is clean, a lot of space, everything you need. Thanks to Alexandra, who met us. She was always ready to help. If we come to Florence, we will stop only there!

AA: The space is cool

We stayed in Diana's apartment for 7 nights , the space is cool , modern and clean , like new .. The location was excellent and very quiet for sleeping. Diana took amazing care of us , we couldn't have asked for more. loved our stay!

Robi & Anne: A week in summer

Our family group, two couples and two teenaged boys, stayed in Angelica apartment for a week in summer. The location could not be faulted, halfway between Galleria Accademia and the Duomo and just a short walk from the Mercato Centrale (Mercato di San Lorenzo) only a short walk away. Across the road is a small supermarket for all supplies. It is only a short 15 minute walk away from SMN railway station. The apartment itself is very spacious with three large bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and the third bedroom has easy access to a third bathroom. There is a large open plan sitting and dining room and separate open plan kitchen/breakfast room. There is another private sitting room adjacent to the back bedroom with two day beds. The high ceilings add to the feeling of space. We were not at all cramped and each bedroom had plenty of hanging spaces and hangers for our clothing so we weren’t living out of a suitcase for the week. There are separate modern, efficient air conditioning units in each room which was very welcome after a day of walking around in the sun! We all slept very well with comfortable beds and blockout curtains. Despite being on a busy street, there was little noise except the occasional emergency siren. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven, cooktop, fridge and microwave. There is also a washing machine. We didn’t cook during our stay - after all we were on holiday - but there are ample utensils for those who do. The apartment is very homely. There was also a ‘handy phone’ provided free of charge. This allows you to roam around the city, make telephone calls locally and even internationally, and to contact the apartment managers easily if needed. The only downside .. the sixty steps (10 flights of stairs) .. to the apartment. Like most apartments there is no lift. It was not a problem for us but you may want to consider this if you have reduced mobility. Our guest concierge, Francesca, met us promptly at the time we arranged to check in and even made arrangements for our private transfer back to the airport at the end of our stay. (Be aware that in Florence, taxis are not as plentiful as you might be used to! We had a short wait to catch a taxi from the airport on our arrival but none were available for booking on our return due to a fashion festival and other events. Make transfer arrangements at least the day before. Shuttle buses are available from the SMN train station but we did not fancy walking with our cases over the cobbled streets in 30 degree summer heat!) We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Angelica. It truly was a home away from home and we all felt very comfortable here. A perfect base for exploring this beautiful city!

Ann: An amazing place to stay.

This was an amazing place to stay. The apartment overlooks the Chapel of San Lorenzo, is two blocks away from the duomo and in the other direction to the Mercado. Restaurants everywhere. The busy streets of Piazza San Lorenzo are fun to people watch and thankfully muted in the back bedrooms during the night. We felt like we were in the middle of Florence dell Medici. This is a third story apartment. So if you are not into climbing lots of stairs, this is not for you. If you want to sit high atop Piazza San Lorenzo it’s perfect. One small note: we could not get the tv to work so if that matters to you make sure to ask how to make it happen

Emma, USA: Diana and her team did everything they could to get it fixed

We loved this tiny studio, and WOW that terrace is just amazing! Wonderful views and perfect location. Immediate area feels very safe, just a minute or two to walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The space itself is simple and stylish, and the bed is super comfortable. Lovely hot shower, yes its small but my 6 ft 1 boyfriend was fine in it. Tiny kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. Check-in was very easy. Unfortunately for us the air conditioning and stove were not working for our entire stay due to an issue with the air conditioning unit tripping electricity out, and this is the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars. It really did impact our weekend as it was hot at night and I got lots of mosquito bites from having the windows open. Frustrating when I'd spent so long choosing a place that had great air con. However, Diana and her team did everything they could to get it fixed and offered us another place to sleep in if it got too hot. They were fantastic hosts, just our bad luck on timing with the unit breaking down. It is now fixed so I would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again for sure!
