My wife and I stayed at Diana's place during our honeymoon and you'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer place if roof-top, sitting enjoying panoramic views of the city with a glass of local wine in your hand is your idea of a good time. Located in the Oltrarno area of Florence (opposite side of river from many major sites), it is a 25min walk from the train station, 20min walk from Galleria Academia, 15min walk from the Duomo and palazzo vecchio, and 10min walk from Uffizi Gallery. It is located in a residential area which has fewer hordes of tourists than on the other bank of the river which is pleasant. A smaller apartment, the rooftop terrace is the highlight. There is a table with 6 chairs as well as an additional 2 sunbathing chairs. It offers unparalleled views of the city, 180deg. The buildings to the west begin providing shade around 1-2pm which is nice as to not bake in the sun. It's great for watching the sunset over the city. There is a steep climb up a hill to the apartment itself and then typically Italian stair-steepness to reach the 3rd and top floor for the apt. We'd recommend this to anyone looking to stay in a place somewhat away from the crowds while offering a wonderful venue for enjoying a book, glass of wine, apperitivo, and fantastic views of the city!”

Diana, we loved your place. Very tastefully decorated, all amenities were provided (even premium) shampoos and soaps. The location is in a quiet street (at first we thought we were in an alleyway until we realized they the street springs to life’s few hours later). We then realized that we could not have been in a better location if we had planned. Only 5 minutes from the train station and only 5 minutes from the very best shopping and restaurants - we cannot recommend Diana and her team enough- we had a private entry and a really amazing security and key system Enjoy this special place (you won’t regret your decision) David

This apartment was super clean and had an amazing location. 5 min walk from the train station and close proximity to stores and amenities. Never had to use the bus or taxi. Diana was very quick with her responses and offerend other traveling services. Would definitely stay here again.

The view from the roof terrace over Florence is simply beautiful and makes this apartment well worth the climb of the stairs to get to it! There were two very minor niggles regarding the apartment. The first is the window in the bathroom, which is right next to the shower and looks directly into a neighbouring flat. A towel solved that. The second was the TV. It only works for about 10 minutes before the picture fades to black. These niggles aside, the apartment is clean, in a great location and with a spectacular view over Florence, who needs a working TV?

Diana and the team are always available, react operatively, are very friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to ask them to arrange any visit or meeting, help to find something in the city or just to put a bottle of prosecco in a fridge before your arrival :) The apartment itself deserves a special attention - don't miss a chance to enjoy this spot! Nous avons passé un très agréable moment dans cet appartement atypique et calme. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique. Son emplacement permet de tout faire à pied. Attention, petite montée pour y accéder et plusieurs escaliers dans le logement, ce qui lui rajoute un côté sportif pas désagréable. On recommande.

Nicely furnished, comfortable bed and quiet place. It was within walking distance of the train station, about 5 minutes and about 10 minute walk to shopping and restaurants.

The appartments is like the images; the young lady that meet us was very pleasant and friendly, going through everything before she left. It is positioned about 15mins, walking with a suitcase, from the station and the same from the centre of Florence. The information folder was excellent. The flat was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The flat is accessed via a very steep staircase which may for some be difficult with suitcases but not impossible. I felt super fit going up these stairs a couple of times a day. @homeaway

We liked the location with its little cafes and shops. The square of Santo Spirito with its lively market and lovely restaurants and bars where the locals gather is authentically Florentine.

Perfect Location for all sight seeing within short walk 10 to 15 mins walk, food market near by also restaurants, the apartment was big , very nice, quiet and the lovely enclosed court yard was a bonus.

Lovely apartment on the 3rd floor. Very clean, which is top on my list. Beautiful views from every window. Surprisingly quiet & peaceful. Wished we could have stayed longer. Diana & Francesca were most helpful and provided us with their phone numbers in case we needed anything during our stay. Renting a property through Acacia allowed us to experience Florence and the surrounding countryside as if we lived there. Don’t miss out on the Tours offered, Chianti/Siena Tour was amazing! Driver provided for pick up and return to airport, set fee each way, so worth the convenience! The week went by so quickly, next trip, staying longer!!

The apartment was perfectly located, walking distance to all major attractions. Check-in and communication were great from Diana and the team.Thank you for a wonderful stay! As some previous reviews have mentioned the noise from the square can get pretty loud at night, so this could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise fantastic apartment in the heart of the city! @airbnb

The loft was perfect for our group of 3. Diana met us at the front of the loft and made sure we were acquainted and settled in. She gave us helpful tips and a map of Florence. We also were given the option of using a handy to make any phone calls needed or guide us through the city. The loft was centrally located by awesome restaurants, gelato, and nightlife. It was easy to walk to everywhere we needed to. Diana even booked our taxi to the train station on our departure. We appreciate everything and thankful to have found this place. Will definitely recommend her loft to others and come back to stay there if given the chance. Thank you!

The people running this property are wonderful! You are across the street from the Medici Chapel and two blocks from the Duomo. The property managers are great and provide you with all that you will need to have a wonderful experience including a local cell phone loaded with all kids of apps and all the contact information you could need. I would return to this property without hesitation and will recommend it to anyone I know visiting Florence. The only downside would be for people who have difficulty with stairs as this property is on the top floor and there is no elevator. @homeaway
