Yesterday prime minister Mario Draghi said the country would reopen its borders to vaccinated travelers from all countries currently on its ‘C list’ on May 16. That includes all EU member states, the UK, and the European Free Trade Association countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland).
