Katy, UK: Loving restored and real sense of how their ancestors lived

We visited historic Villa Pepi last June and it's hard to put into words just how wonderful this place is. It has been loving restored by the family with an emphasis on retaining as many of the original features as possible, with the result that you get a real sense of how their ancestors lived. Of course it has modern facilities such as showers and a fully fitted out kitchen, but if you are looking for slickly renovated accommodation this isn't the place for you. The grounds are a joy, adorned with roses and fruit trees, the scent of which you can enjoy whilst lying by the charming swimming pool. We took advantage of the lovely walking routes through the Tuscany landscape. It's a place for those who appreciate history and want a peaceful retreat but I would not recommend it for families with young children or party people as many of the original artefacts are still on display, some of which are quite fragile. We shall certainly be returning to this gorgeous Tuscan retreat.

Adam, USA: Clean, renovated, and Diana was a great host who was always readily available!

Jenna, UK: the location was perfect

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment - the location was perfect and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. The studio was as shown in the pictures, small, but very clean. I would definitely recommend a stay here. @abnb

Stine, Sweden: Couldn`t imagine a better location in Firenze

Couldn`t imagine a better location in Firenze. So close to everything and yet quiet and peacefull. The flat is excellent for to persons on a vacation. It was clean, nice and just as described in the pictures. We where met by Francesca who had a lot of very useful recommendations in regards to eating and shopping as well as avoiding the masses and finding the local flavour of town. We will come back and we can ind the neighbourhood recommend: Lorenzo Villoresi a perfume designer of the best who now has a shop a few hundred meters from the flat, Via De Bardi 12. The local supermarket of high class even it is not so big a few hundred meters from the flat. Sitting on the roof terrace enjoying a glas of Spumante with the fantastic view of Firenze and the sound of church bells will be a moment we will remember for good. @abnb

Jonathan, USA: The apartment was very clean and comfortable

Diana was an excellent host! She was very responsive and available for all my travel needs. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had the luxury of air conditioning and was in a nice location near Ponte Vecchio. Overall, I am very grateful that I stayed there in Florence and it felt as though I was staying in a hotel room. I would definitely recommend her and I will try to stay at one of Diana's locations again when I come back to Florence! @abnb

Angelene, UK: We felt really at home

We felt really at home as soon as we arrived, everyone was really helpful and was available emediatly at a phone call when we locked ourselves out of the apartment. Great location and brilliant tips on local gems!! @abnb

Miguel, Spain: Diana and her team (Francesca and Melania) are great professionals

Acacia took care of our stay in Florence and we visited their office at least four times. Diana and her team (Francesca and Melania) are great professionals and can cater to your needs while in Florence -from a tuk-tuk ride to a wine tasting, in or around the city. Recommended. @google

Dunja, Serbia: Very responsive host

A very beautiful place decorated with intricate detail, loved it. the only down side is that its a bit dar with not a lot of daylight so you must turn on the lights during the day, otherwise, amazing. Comfortable big bed. the host was very responsive. @abnb

Janelle, Australia: planning to book Apartment Agave again when I return to Florence.

I loved everything about this property! The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, the decor is a complementary mix of old and modern with the exposed brick walls and feels very homely and comfortable, the location and proximity to great shopping and sightseeing was perfect to explore Florence on foot and the communication with the apartment owner and staff was always very prompt and helpful. A perfect short stay, I am highly recommending it to friends and family and planning to book Apartment Agave again when I return to Florence. The apartment has windows that open out to the street and at night it can be a little noisy, but as the bed was so comfortable I found I drifted off to sleep so quickly that it never kept me awake. I would personally have loved an iron and ironing board in the apartment to iron my crumpled clothes, but they do offer an ironing service. @booking.com

James, UK: The apartment was fantastic.

The apartment was fantastic. There was everything we needed for our stay in Florence. It's in a perfect location and the roof terrace makes it especially unique. We were met on time and shown around the apartment and the whole experience was easy. I would definitely recommend staying here! @abnb
