We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Florence. Diana offered us wine upon our early evening arrival and we had a wonderful conversation. She is a fascinating woman and truly understands hospitality. Everything about the apartment was described accurately in the Airbnb listing. The location was perfect with everything convenient for a 4 day stay. Diana gave us great restaurant recommendations and called to reserve. We referenced her Florence binder frequently for everything from the best gelato near by to the perfume shop my 20 yr. old daughter loved! It was the "insider guide" we all want from someone whose family has lived in Florence for generations. She also arranged for a taxi to the train station which arrived promptly, and even delivered needed items to our door when we all came down with a 24 stomach bug. All communication was immediate and efficient. We loved the rooftop terrace, the visits from her cat through the window from the roof, comfortable beds, Aqua Flor shower products , and the traditional feel of this updated apartment within a 15th century mansion. The only challenges are documented right in the listing so no surprises. Prepare for sneaky mosquitos (none of our Italian lodging had screens but more mosquitos in Florence than expected) and the stairs with our luggage and within apartment reminded us to bring less next time! But a chair awaited us on the last landing to rest if needed! Diana is gracious, kind, and her apartment was perfect for our family. Thank you for a wondrous l experience in Firenze.”

The location was perfect right across from the Medici Chapel. Large open windows to gaze out from. Church bells were an added bonus! Many restaurants within steps. Two bedroom and two full baths. Plenty of hot water and fresh linens. Our only issue was with wifi. @airbnb

L'appartement est parfait pour un couple, rien ne manque, y compris un peu d'exercice physique, car si vous passez de la cuisine à la salle de bains puis à la terrasse vous avez fait votre échauffement pour conquérir la ville à pied !” Nous vous remercions aussi de ne pas avoir trop mis en avant votre société de services Acacias qui au premier abord peut inquiéter des hôtes qui ont plutôt l'habitude de louer des appartements privés et familiaux.” @airbnb

Staying at Cosmea was a dream come true!! A beautifully appointed studio suite with a multi million dollar view of Florence from the roof top terrace. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and breakfasts and dinners with sunrises and sunsets over the Duomo and tower were truly extraordinary. Everything you need is within a short walk. Grocery store, markets, shops and museums. Two minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and out of the touristy area made the location perfect. I will be back for sure!

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location--directly across the Arno from the Uffizi Gallery. With a supermarket nearby, we found it easy to purchase a few items to enjoy on the magnificent rooftop terrace. The view of the city is unparalleled. It was a perfect place for our few days in Florence. @abnb

Excellent choice for a trip to Florence. We informed Diana in advance of our arrival time and we're met within a few minutes of arriving to the apartment. She also made taxi arrangements for us to return to the train station for our departure. The apartment is very spacious by local standards and completely clean and adoreable. The building is just a block or two from Santa Croce Basilica in a a very walkable area. We took advantage of one Diana's concierge tours (Wine Explorer) and had a wonderful time riding around Tuscany with Stefano, exploring Siena and visiting at local winery. @abnb

The apartment was just as announced. Comfortable, clean, good location. Diana was always available and helpful. @abnb

A relaxing ride through Tuscany, with a couple of enchanting stops along the way, finishing at a lovely family owned winery. Nice number of stops and length of time at each.

Nous avons passé 3 semaines super dans l’appartement Gelsomino . L’appartement est spacieux , confortable , bien meublé ,avec du caractere et bien équipé avec tout ce qu’il faut . Cet appart est très bien placé pour tout faire a pied dans Florence ,il y a des restaurants et commerces proches ,et le marché de S.Ambroggio est super . Nous avons profité de la terrasse très agréable. Diana et son équipe sont sympas, réactives et attentives a toutes nos demandes

This is a great apartment within easy walking distance (6 mins) of Ponte Vecchio. It is in a quiet residential part of Florence n the area where real locals dine so you have great food right on the doorstep at non-tourist prices. The place is clean and tidy, all communication was of the highest level and we were greeted at the apartment on arrival. Be aware that you've got to climb four flights of stairs to reach the apartment but this gives your rooftop views, great light, and peace and quiet. We travelled in from Pisa on the train and it took us about 25-30 mins to walk (with our luggage) from Florence station to the apartment. @abnb

Dream apartment in the very center of Firenze, with incredible style, fantastic views, fully modern renovation with heated floors in the bedroom! Can be slightly noisy due to an active market area in close proximity, but nothing too problematic. We we're met by the host's friend, Alessandra, who was very personable and easy-going. Truly an unforgettable apartment. @abnb

This apartment really was a gem! It looks exactly as in the pictures. A beautiful apartment on the fourth floor of a very old building inside a beautiful courtyard. It was very clean, very spacious and well laid out. We stayed with our two children (3 and 5) and they loved it. The climb up the stairs is of course only for the able-bodied, but we only did it twice a day so it was no big deal. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. There were even staples like sugar and tea available. The bathroom was immaculate, included a washing machine and even little shampoo and lotion. We felt like we were in a 5-star hotel. It is about a 5 minute walk from Santa Croce and about 8 minutes to the Duomo. There is a tiny little food market on the corner with anything you might want for snacks or cold breakfast, and a larger supermarket about two blocks away for other needs. Restaurants, shops, etc. Are all within 5 minutes walk away. We also took advantage of nearby bus stops to get to certain attractions (you can buy a ticket for 2euros on the bus). Communication was great and check-in with the management company was very friendly and professional. My parents stayed in a 4-star hotel around the corner that wasn't as nice as this! You won't find a better place in Florence! @abnb
