The streets show schools of art, historical buildings, churches, typical restaurants and shops, markets and things where the colors and rhythms of the old Florence can still be experienced. It is easy o think of yourself as a hippy from the seventies, like in the scenes of the recently shot movie, Universale.

The Square
When in Florence we say "vado in piazza" (I’m going to ‘the square’) we always mean Piazza Santo Spirito. Warm and welcoming, it is the place where locals and foreigners merge with joy, relaxing, siting at the small tables with a nice glass of wine around the fountain, surrounded by the trees, overlooking the stairs leading to the beautiful church.
