What you loved about Raperonzolo, Duomo
This place was incredible. Such a central location with an amazing price for such a beautiful room! An open plan - perfect for a couple. Would highly recommend and hope to come back soon!”
Diana's place is spacious and excellently located. You cannot beat the price/location combo! Communication was excellent and there were many thoughtful touches and an excellent greeter to help get you situated. The steps take a bit getting used to so if you're not fit it may be a struggle. As a group we were travelling for 2 weeks (in the middle of summer) and having AC and a washing machine was huge!
Great Airbnb in the heart of Florence. Loved the ambiance and the ice cold AC. Lots of stairs to lug suitcases but was so comfy and close to everything that it wa worth it
Beautiful place to stay and perfectly located. Amazing space and has everything you need. Takes you back in time to an old world. Be warned, there are 8 flights of stairs to get up to it so may not suit everyone - I had my large bag with me but it was more than worth it! Such a lovely place and I was met by Alessandra who is on the team for check in which was lovely. Perfectly located for seeing Firenze!
The location for this property was excellent!
The location for this property was excellent! Pretty much within a ten minute walk from all the main galleries, churches and sights in central Florence. The south bank was also a very easy stroll away. The stairs to the apartment are a fair amount but if you don't have mobility issues you can get used to it quickly and it helps to burn off some of the great eating to be had in Florence. The apartment had windows all around and let in a good amount of light. When cold outside it was warm inside and when hot outside it was cool inside, that was nice. Check in and out was very smooth and flexible. Diana and the team were very accommodating. If you need, there is also a free mobile phone for local call use and with information on local events, etc. We felt that there were a couple of negatives though - The floor was terracotta tiling, which was great, but it wasn't very well cleaned, you could feel it if you walked around barefoot. Given it's such a walk up we could understand why whomever cleaned it might not have been totally enthusiastic, but it was not that great when lounging around. The bathroom could do with an upgrade, or a good clean, and the bathtub floor was curved which made it quite tricky to shower in with wet feet! Finally there was a bit of an ant issue in the kitchen and bathroom, but for such an old building this was understandable. All in all we felt that the pros outweighed the cons but it would be such a great place with just a little bit more TLC.
This apartment was the perfect "home"
This apartment was the perfect "home" for our time in Florence. It was comfortable and conveniently located! My favorite thing about it is the traditional styling...we wanted to make sure that even when inside, we knew we were in the heart of a beautiful Italian city, and this apartment did just that. It's located on a very well-kept street and in walking distance to everything in Florence. We appreciated the supply of movies on DVD, which provided for some relaxing evenings after active days in the city. It was also supplied with some essentials like coffee, espresso, sugar, toilet paper, etc. One minor issue is that on nice evenings, it would get loud with people/music echoing from the Piazza del Strozzi, but we found that closing the interior shutters in addition to the windows, helped a lot. We hope to visit again some day!!!”
Here again in a heartbeat
Thank you for everything! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Diana was such an incredible host and attended to our every need. Her place was clean, neat, filled with every amenity and definitely a cozy, inviting space. We can't wait to stay here again during our next trip to Florence. Thank you for the incredible hospitality!”
Can't recommend enough
Diana greeted us for the check-in and helped with parking recommendations for the city center which was very helpful. Diana has also put together a guide for the city that helped with things like places to eat and things to see. The apartment itself is gorgeously decorated in tune with the historic vibe of the city. Everything was perfect and we loved that it's so close to Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. The only downside is the long flight of stairs but we've found it was worth it considering how nice the apartment is and how close to all the attractions it is. Can't recommend enough
