Our story

“Acacia” is a recently formed booking agency which offers fully furnished short stay self catering apartments in the heart of Florence.

Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, our solutions offer more freedom and privacy than a traditional Hotel.

We chose the name “Acacia” as a tribute to an ancient Acacia tree which stands in the courtyard of Palazzo Pepi. This historical residence has already been open to our “fellow travelers of the world” for years and it is here that our fascination for flowers and blossoms began, and where our proposals have taken shape and flourished.

Since the 1800s, flowers have often been given meanings, which can be adapted for use on specific occasions, to express sensations and feelings without the need for words.

On discovering that the fragrant blossoms found on the Acacia signify “secret love”, – perfectly describing our new venture – we decided to give all of our apartments and services a floral identity, based on their individual characteristics.

Therefore, a visiting family who choose to sojourn in the Primula (Primrose)… “Childhood” apartment might add the “Kids” bouquet, which is represented by the Gerbera …“Happiness”.

In this way you are able to tailor your trip to fit your needs and make your stay in our beautiful city unique and unforgettable!
