Studio Nespolo

The studio is in the right place to explore the city, it’s so close to the Palazzo Pitti and the Ponte Vecchio, and yet it’s very quiet. Diana was very nice – we tried every restaurant she recommended and love it. (J.S. July 2012)

Studio Ciliegio

I had a great experience with renting this apartment from Diana. Her friend meet us when we arrived and wanted to made sure that all the questions we had was answered before she left. She gave great recommendations for special things, that we wanted to experience. The area is a really great place with many local Florentini and small piazzas with great atmosphere.

The apartment is small, but it has everything you need. (A.V. July 2012)

Primula apartment is amazing!

We really loved the apartment, it was perfect for the 4 of us traveling together (2 young couples). There are 2 bedrooms one with a big queen size bed and one with 2 twins. The room with 2 twins has stairs that lead up to the kitchen and then from there onto the beautiful terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to cook or prepare a meal. There is a washing machine in the kitchen. There are outside and inside drying racks for your clothes. There is also a nice entry way with living room and a dining room up on the second floor with the kitchen. The layout of this apartment is really neat and the whole place was very clean. Diana lives right next door and was super helpful the whole time! We had to knock on her door at 10:30pm on a Sunday night to check out since we didn’t plan ahead and she was more than helpful and even called a taxi for us for the next morning’s early departure. The only negative here is a small bathroom, but that is pretty much how most are in Europe. The bathroom has a toilet and shower/tub. The apartment provides nice towels, hairdryer, and all linens. Overall we had a great time in Florence and would definitely recommend this place. It is about a 10 min walk from the Duomo and very close to a nice piazza with great shopping and restaurants. Diana recommended a great bar/restaurant around the corner from their place and we ended up staying there for 4 hours at lunch! (S.K. June 2012)

Magnolia

This place could not be better located: on a lovely street (up a hill, so be aware), close to Ponte Vecchio but not in the middle of madness. The view is beautiful (you can see it from the Uffizi) and it is comfortable. Lots of space, so in a way ideal for more then a couple. We didn’t get a chance to meet Diana in person. Her partner, Frederica, was waiting for us and checked us in. They were both very pleasant and responsive. It was a cold weekend in Florence and they were quick to help us get the heat sorted out (which ordinarily is off by this time of year). They went out of their way to accommodate us, getting a and extra wi-fi key when theirs was in use by another of their clients (they have a business of renting apartments in Florence). Also delivered an iron that was missing, were helpful in calling a taxi for us for the return to the train. Apropos, though it is only a 15 – 20 minute walk, I recommend a taxi from the train unless you know Florence well, as the most obvious path to walk is right past the Duomo and Uffizi, and then across Ponte Vecchio which are almost always packed. Nice place. Easy access to Florence, including Piti Palace and some great places to eat on the south side of the river. ( W. F. May 2012)

Apartement Primula

Germany May 2012)

Nespolo: I’m missing Firenze already!

Thank you for being such fabulous hosts. We loved staying at Nespolo and you guys are doing a wonderful job. We went to a few of the restaurants you recommended and enjoyed all of them. I am missing Firenze already! In Prague at the moment but it’s nothing compared to Italy. (F. & B, Prague May 2012

Primula..Thank you

Thank you again and again for the city of Florence that we very enjoyably surfed through, for the apartment Primula which is a very part of the town and holds a spirit of Florence. Thank you for a professional and sufficient service and your readiness to make our stay nice and  comfortable. We truly recommend Primula for everyone who wish not only to visit Florence but would like to be a part of the town…even such “citizenship” lasts short.

Great value in Florence!

The apartment “Magnolia” is perfect for groups of 3 or 4. It is really spacious and has all the amenities including a kitchen so you can eat in. It is a bit uphill but only for the last bit and is super close to the Ponte Vecchio! The street is tucked away so is quiet for sleeping but only 5 minutes walk from major tourists sites. Diana is great and will make sure you have everything you need when you stay with her! (September 2011)

Magnolia, the ONLY place to stay!

We stayed at the Magnolia apartment from 6-8 September.

The tastefully decorated apartment and charming surroundings made this the most memorable stay of our whole Italy trip! Its location was unbeatable, only minutes away from Ponte vechio, but secluded enough so that your not bothered by all the tourist crowds.

Diana was a delight to deal with, she was very warm and welcoming. We felt like we were staying at a friends house rather than a holiday rental. She was very helpful & thoughtful giving us good food & sight seeing recommendations. She certainly went above & beyond what was required of her. My favorite part was her providing us with a mobile wifi dongle that we could carry around in Florence so that we were always online. How cool is that!

My only regret is we were only there for 2 nights. I will definitely be planning another trip to Florence and this is the only place where I’ll stay!

Molte Grazie Diana! (A.M. september 2011)

The location was ideal. The owner/caretaker fluent in English, more than willing to do whatever was in her power to help us obtain tickets to museums and make our stay in Florence as good as it could be.
The apartment was fully furnished, and had everything that we needed to establish our base as a home while on vacation.( M.M. Usa, January 2009)
