Magnolia

A five minute walk from River arno and Ponte Vecchio, the Magnolia apartment made for a perfect stay in Florence! We are a family of four with two teenage daughters- the girls could come and go as they pleased since the apartment was centrally located. The supermarket was right down the street as was the busy Ponte Vecchio… but via Magnolia is quiet in the midst of it all. The Oltrarno area was perfect… the perfect mix of hip restaurants and piazzas filled with locals in the evening. Acaciafirenze’s Diana was absolutely wonderful start to finish- was responsive from the time we booked right up until our departure (we stayed 6 nights). The price was excellent- great value for our money. We would definitely stay there again

Magnolia

As a flight attendant and being spoilt with five star hotels, I try to stay away from these establishments whenever I go on vacation. From the get-go, Diana was very transparent, quick to response and would even do as far as help you plan your stay in Florence. She was very professional, prompt and personal at the same time. It’s as if she’s welcoming family to the apartment.

Loved the Magnolia apartment that me and my fiancée stayed at. Excellent location, exactly 20 minutes by walking from then SMN station and 15ish from the major tourist attractions. Grocery just by the corner, amazing pizza place just before that and all the good restaurants are at this side of the river.
Apartment was very clean and tidy, all the amenities are there and what you’ll find in your own apartment, and the place looked exactly like what is was in the pictures.

We would definitely come back to Florence, and apartment Magnolia is one of the top reasons why we fell in love with this city. (T. N. May 2013)

(E. Z. Aprile 2013)

Quercia

Diana Papadopoulos from acacia Firenze found us the perfect apartment for our trip to Florence. From the time we contacted her online until our last day, she gave us an excellent service!
Quercia is a very well located apartment equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant staying. The beds are very comfortable and since the apartment has a great size, you really want to spend some time inside especially when the weather is not that good. Sometimes the street can be very noisy since many people walk through Via dei Cerchi, but since they just go by, it doesn´t bother much. You can buy fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fish in the neighborhood. Metá Supermarket is just around the corner in case you need something or have any cravings. Since Piazza Signoria is one block ahead, there are nice restaurants around.
If you are planning a trip to Florence, we highly recommend Quercia to be your home away from home. The experience of living like “Florentines” is not only beautiful, but very convenient.

Peonia

The apartment in Santa Croce is an absolute dream. You will feel very much at home in this apartment. The owner is absolutely wonderful and very helpful. To top it off I would rate this warm, comfortable hide away with 5 stars.

Great studio apartment in the Oltrarno area of Firenze (my favorite place to stay). Very close to Piazza Santo Spirito and a short walk into the historical center. Diana and her husband were great hosts, they were always available to help out and easy to reach. Clean, comfortable and safe. (D.C. April 2013)

We had the most wonderful time in Florence! We arrived via overnight train from Paris and were completely burnt out and exhausted at this point. But the moment we met Diana, that all changed! She greeted us with a huge smile and hugs and took us to this BEAUTIFUL apartment. She sat down with us and showed us the spots in the city to see and explained to us to not waste money on public transportation – everything is walking distance. The apartment itself is gorgeous, the bed is comfortable, and the location is perfect. We also spoke to the owner, Lucia (sp?) and she recommended that we dine at Coquinarius for our anniversary. It was the best meal we had on our 2 week vacation! Do not miss out on this dinner! The part owner, Nicola, is delightful and recommended a great bottle of wine and gave us a free desert for our anniversary. (Veronica May 2013)

Agave

Our stay at Studio Agave, Ponte Vecchio was wonderful. The apartment has the BEST view of the Ponte Vecchio. We enjoyed the large window views and the close shopping nearby. Deanna was very friendly and helpful when planning our trip. When we arrived we were greeted by Luca. He was incredibly friendly and shared countless restaurants and must-see spots. We were very comfortable and would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat. Thanks Deanna & Luca! (M & S. May 2013)

Magnolia

This is a beautiful apartment only a few doors from Santa Croce. Fantastic location…a quick cab ride from the bus station (wouldn’t want to try to find it on my own…on a small side street.) In a beautiful old buidling, but looked very modern and bright. Up several staircases, you enter your 2 story living room, high ceilings and plaster walls…just gorgeous and airy. Large master bedroom with king size bed (very comfy), cute twin beds in second room…tiny bathroom with tiny tub/shower but very functional. Kitchen upstairs with patio overlocoking rooftops of Florence…you can see the Duono and hear the bells of Santa Croce…fantastic! Wifi worked great…never tried TV. Location could not be better… great bar down the street (Victoria ‘s?? Incredible happy hour with beautiful appetizers for free…Walking distance from everything…Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, etc. Wish it had been warmer and we had more time…would have loved to stay for weeks. Highly recommended! (Nancy F.)

Amarillis

Just wanted to thank you again for all that you did to make our stay in Florence so nice.  We loved the Amaryllis apartment!  It was in the perfect location for us, and was both elegant and comfortable.  We were also very appreciative of Gianlucca for so capably providing transportation to and from the airport.  All best to you, and again, many thanks! Magnolia

My wife and I hate hotels so we tend to rent apartments or houses when we travel and this place is a true gem. Located a stone’s throw from Ponte Vecchio, this flat is one of the most comfortable and well equipped places we have ever stayed in. Very stylish with plenty of space and a very generous kitchen.
This side of the river is now definitely the trendier part of Florence with fabulous boutiques and bars within a short walk. There is also a supermarket 100m away for your breakfast supplies.
The lady who showed us round was most graceful and really took the time to ensure we were comfortable, and being from Florence, she was able to suggest all the best restaurants and bars.
We will definitely be back because on top of everything else, this flat was such good value. (G&M, London November 2012)

Magnolia

Loved staying at Magnolia apartment. It was close to Ponte Vecchio and really central. Very quiet with a nice eat in kitchen and loads of light. A welcoming experience all together. I was in Florence for work, and this place was a perfect home away from home. (A.C. January 2013)

Quercia
The location was fantastic, the apartment is very charming and completely clean. It was well organized and had everything one could need away from home. Diana was very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information about the neighborhood (restaurants, grocery, markets, emergency phone numbers, etc.) that we found very useful during our stay. We would dearly love to return one day (G.G, Paris January 2013)

To start with, Diana is a such a nice person, she’s also very helpful and at your disposal! As for the apartment, it was perfect! Location wise, it is very central, next to Santa Croce. You have a lot of good restaurants/pubs around and many amenities at a short walking distance (Bank; Supermarket, Pharmacy, etc.) The apartment itself is newly renovated, clean, lots of light in it (very important to me), to say it short very well equipped (from TV, hair dryer, to kitchen utensils.) and very comfy! I highly recommend it!

Magnolia

We stayed at the Magnolia apartment in mid Sept. 2012. Considering the apartment doesn’t have ac. it did have screened windows (unusual for european windows) & Diana made sure we had fans for each room. The location was perfect! You will loose weight tracking up the hill to the apt;) The Magnolia is advertised on the “1st floor,” Hmm to me , it was more like the 3rd floor. But Hey! It’s like a 500 year building, different building codes:)

The Magnolia was super clean & modern. We even had a night in because it was so comfy cozy. There’s a great local grocery store right around the corner. The Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi & Pitti Palace are, literally right around the corner.

The best part Diana greeted us with cold water & a bottle of wine! Awesome apartment! Did I mention the tub!? Loved!

Ninfea, It was perfect!

It was perfect, I didn’t expect that could be so good, all the confort, with good taste in Renesance style, very confortable, in the middle of the center, it is very kind to look from the window and to see at the end of the street the Dom, and in front of us the Academy museum, and in the other side the convent San Marco. In the first days I thought that is a dream, usualy I take my coffee at the open window, regarding to the row of tourist, which wait to see David, and I was on the other side of the street……..Incredible, it was a very nice dream, thanks a lot, signora Federica is a sweet and charmy lady, if a shall return in Florence, sure that I shall contact you. I wish you all my best regards, a lot of thanks, Valentina Maniu, Cluj Napoca, Romania.

Apartment Peonia

Peonia is a lovely apartment, with all the equipment you could need to prepare your meals , if you can tear yourself away from the great restaurants in the area, such as Gusta Vino! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the apartment it is very tastefully decorated and is a homely safe environment to return of the evening to relax, before heading out again to experience Florence at night. Check to see if any of the attractions are open at night and avoid the queues and absorb the romance of Florence of an evening. There is so much to do in the vicinity of the apartment. Diana was lovely and made herself available by prompt email or phone, and very helpful, she lives, works across the street , while the owner of the apartment is two doors away. i have to mention there is no aircon , but with all the huge windows open the breeze flows through the apartment. I would stay there again. (Michael Melbourne on airbnb,Australia)

Studio Loto

We really enjoyed our stay at Studio Loto! Diana was very helpful, she provided us with a map of the city and answered all the questions we had about Florence. The apartment was very clean & spacious. It had everything we needed to make meals. The location could not have been better, it is walking distance from the train station and all major touristy spots but just far enough away from all the crowds. Its in a perfect neighbourhood for night life and good restaurants. I would defiantly stay here again! (Allison on airbnb, september 2012)

Studio Nespolo

The studio is in the right place to explore the city, it’s so close to the Palazzo Pitti and the Ponte Vecchio, and yet it’s very quiet. Diana was very nice – we tried every restaurant she recommended and love it. (J.S. on airbnb  July 2012)

Studio Ciliegio

I had a great experience with renting this apartment from Diana. Her friend meet us when we arrived and wanted to made sure that all the questions we had was answered before she left. She gave great recommendations for special things, that we wanted to experience. The area is a really great place with many local Florentini and small piazzas with great atmosphere.

The apartment is small, but it has everything you need. (A.V. July 2012)

Primula apartment is amazing!

We really loved the apartment, it was perfect for the 4 of us traveling together (2 young couples). There are 2 bedrooms one with a big queen size bed and one with 2 twins. The room with 2 twins has stairs that lead up to the kitchen and then from there onto the beautiful terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to cook or prepare a meal. There is a washing machine in the kitchen. There are outside and inside drying racks for your clothes. There is also a nice entry way with living room and a dining room up on the second floor with the kitchen. The layout of this apartment is really neat and the whole place was very clean. Diana lives right next door and was super helpful the whole time! We had to knock on her door at 10:30pm on a Sunday night to check out since we didn’t plan ahead and she was more than helpful and even called a taxi for us for the next morning’s early departure. The only negative here is a small bathroom, but that is pretty much how most are in Europe. The bathroom has a toilet and shower/tub. The apartment provides nice towels, hairdryer, and all linens. Overall we had a great time in Florence and would definitely recommend this place. It is about a 10 min walk from the Duomo and very close to a nice piazza with great shopping and restaurants. Diana recommended a great bar/restaurant around the corner from their place and we ended up staying there for 4 hours at lunch! (S.K. June 2012)

Magnolia

This place could not be better located: on a lovely street (up a hill, so be aware), close to Ponte Vecchio but not in the middle of madness. The view is beautiful (you can see it from the Uffizi) and it is comfortable. Lots of space, so in a way ideal for more then a couple. We didn’t get a chance to meet Diana in person. Her partner, Frederica, was waiting for us and checked us in. They were both very pleasant and responsive. It was a cold weekend in Florence and they were quick to help us get the heat sorted out (which ordinarily is off by this time of year). They went out of their way to accommodate us, getting a and extra wi-fi key when theirs was in use by another of their clients (they have a business of renting apartments in Florence). Also delivered an iron that was missing, were helpful in calling a taxi for us for the return to the train. Apropos, though it is only a 15 – 20 minute walk, I recommend a taxi from the train unless you know Florence well, as the most obvious path to walk is right past the Duomo and Uffizi, and then across Ponte Vecchio which are almost always packed. Nice place. Easy access to Florence, including Pitti Palace and some great places to eat on the south side of the river. ( W. F. May 2012)

Apartement Primula

Germany May 2012)

Nespolo: I’m missing Firenze already!

Thank you for being such fabulous hosts. We loved staying at Nespolo and you guys are doing a wonderful job. We went to a few of the restaurants you recommended and enjoyed all of them. I am missing Firenze already! In Prague at the moment but it’s nothing compared to Italy. (F. & B, Prague May 2012

Primula..Thank you

Thank you again and again for the city of Florence that we very enjoyably surfed through, for the apartment Primula which is a very part of the town and holds a spirit of Florence. Thank you for a professional and sufficient service and your readiness to make our stay nice and  comfortable. We truly recommend Primula for everyone who wish not only to visit Florence but would like to be a part of the town…even such “citizenship” lasts short.

Great value in Florence!

The apartment “Magnolia” is perfect for groups of 3 or 4. It is really spacious and has all the amenities including a kitchen so you can eat in. It is a bit uphill but only for the last bit and is super close to the Ponte Vecchio! The street is tucked away so is quiet for sleeping but only 5 minutes walk from major tourists sites. Diana is great and will make sure you have everything you need when you stay with her! (September 2011)

Magnolia, the ONLY place to stay!

We stayed at the Magnolia apartment from 6-8 September.

The tastefully decorated apartment and charming surroundings made this the most memorable stay of our whole Italy trip! Its location was unbeatable, only minutes away from Ponte vechio, but secluded enough so that your not bothered by all the tourist crowds.

Diana was a delight to deal with, she was very warm and welcoming. We felt like we were staying at a friends house rather than a holiday rental. She was very helpful & thoughtful giving us good food & sight seeing recommendations. She certainly went above & beyond what was required of her. My favorite part was her providing us with a mobile wifi dongle that we could carry around in Florence so that we were always online. How cool is that!

My only regret is we were only there for 2 nights. I will definitely be planning another trip to Florence and this is the only place where I’ll stay!

Molte Grazie Diana! (A.M. september 2011)

The location was ideal. The owner/caretaker fluent in English, more than willing to do whatever was in her power to help us obtain tickets to museums and make our stay in Florence as good as it could be.
The apartment was fully furnished, and had everything that we needed to establish our base as a home while on vacation.( M.M. Usa, January 2009)
