Our office is located in Palazzo Pepi, a beautiful 15th Century Residence.
The original building was constructed in the early fifteenth century but the property was expanded,by the purchase of other adjacent real estate, between 1441 and 1553. The property was, at first, owned by other members of the Florentine nobility, such as the Strozzi family and the Pucci family. Then, in 1653,the house was bought by the Pepi family, who had assumed a prominent position in the life of the city.
The building still belongs to the Pepi family, and over the years they have enlarged and transformed their ancestral home.
The name “Acacia” gives tribute to a centuries-old Acacia tree (unique in form, height and age), which spontaneously germinated around three centuries ago and has now reached such a great height that it gives shade to the terrace on the second floor:
….a rarity not to be missed by our fellow travelers of the world!
