La Mostra Mercato Internazionale dell’Artigianato si tiene ogni anno nei suggestivi spazi espositivi della Fortezza da Basso. ART, giunta all’invidiabile traguardo del settantaduesimo anno, è oggi uno degli eventi più prestigiosi per l’artigianato artistico di qualità, capace di presentare 850 espositori ed attrarre oltre 200mila visitatori ogni anno. ART è una grande vetrina di idee e di progetti innovativi per il consumatore, i cui gusti ed esigenze sono in costante trasformazione, e per gli operatori del settore.

La 72ma edizione, che si svolgerà dal 25 aprile al 4 maggio 2008, ripropone la suddivisione in otto ampie aree tematiche che già ha caratterizzato con successo le scorse edizioni: territori, scene d’interni, il gusto, scenari dal mondo, scenari di moda e preziosi, visioni, per dare una visione completa di tutte le varie espressioni dell’artigiano nei più diversi contesti.

ART 2008 – International Handicraft Fair, Florence

The International Handicraft Market Fair is held every year in the charming exhibition halls of Fortezza da Basso. Having reached its 72nd year of history, the Fair is one of the most prestigious events for artistic quality crafts, able to attract more than 200,000 visitors every year. The Fair is a gigantic showcase of ideas and novel projects, perfect for the customer whose taste and needs are constantly changing, as well as for sector operators.

The 72nd edition, that will be held from April 25 to May 4 2008 will focus on various topics, already appreciated in last year edition: Lands, Interiors, Visions, Taste, Harmony and Wellness, Rich Backgrounds, Fashion stages, Handicrafts, and Surroundings, in order to give a complete vision of the most different handicraft expressions.
