L’Acacia is a bed and breakfast located in an historical 15th Century palace “Palazzo Pepi”, right next to the Basilica of Santa Croce in the very old centre of town, 5 minutes walking from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi.
“L’ Acacia” takes its name from the Rubinia tree, age-old and truly unique, which grew spontaneously and came to provide shade for the terrace on the second floor: even if only to be seen by the world’s travellers!
On the second and top floor of the building, in a wing that has just been renovated and is connected to the main house, but is completely independent, are available 2 bright and spacious double rooms, with modern offsuite bathroom. All rooms have TV, DVD, movies, double windows, WiFi connection, bathlinen, bathrobe and every comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Essences of the highest quality “home fragrance line” from Dr. Vranjes surround each room of the house to offer the beneficial effects of aromatherapy and enevelope yourself with a sense of well-being.
In the living area where are at your disposal books, city guides and magazines, classical music in the background will raise your spirits as you sip a cup of tea on the couch, or an aperitif while you wait to go to dinner.
